Villatuerta

Villatuera

Geraldine had a ricky old rottern fencepost as a walking stick. As we walked passed Villauerta, and old man saw Geraldine and say:

No, no, no, no

Then gestered to for her to follow him. She walked into the local church where he presented her with a walking stick left by a fellow pilgrim, and unceremoniously tossed hers away. Her new stick was much better.

Windmill Ridge

Just out of Pamplona (or Iruna in basque), we had to climb over this ridge lined with beautiful spinning windmills. As you can guess, the climb was hard, and it was hot and windy :-)

Rest Stop

Rest Stop

Geraldine, Ann and Kuini having a dip in a stream by some road near Zurian in the Navarra province of Spain. It was hot, we were tired, and so we decided to have a rest. Heh, Kuini nearly fell in.
